The Vice Chancellor, Federal University Dutse Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed has condoled the Correspondent Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalist, Jigawa State Chapter over the death of its Chairman, Ahmed Abubàkar.
He described the death as a huge loss to Jigawa state especially the media circle.
Professor Abdukarim sabo said the Correspondent Chapel under the able leadership of late Ahmed Abubakar had been a partner in progress in the development of Federal University Dutse in the last ten years.
The VC described late Ahmed as a veteràn Journalist who had paid his due to the Journalism profession, adding that the late Chairman was a fine gentleman who carried out his assignment diligently in the course of his long and eventful career .
Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed prayed Allah to grant him aljantu Firdausi and grant his family and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
