Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has urged successful entrepreneurs, scholars, and other key stakeholders to offer support and mentorship to young people with a view to raising a new generation of great leaders.

Governor AbdulRazq made the call at the Peace and Youths Development Summit / the Writeup 2021 grand finale in commemoration of International Youths Day held at Kwara state University , Malete.

Represented by his deputy Mr Kayode Alabi , governor AbdulRazq said the future of any society was based on quality of young people been groomed.

He said his administration was commiitted in raising quality Kwara youths capable of competing with their contemporaries worldwide.

AbdulRazq noted that government would ensure adequate provision of quality education to give the youths a fair opportunity to compete.

The governor also congratulated the young people on the International Youth Day, adding that the youths should reflect on the present and the future in order to make the best decisions for posterity.

In his remark the Speaker , Kwara State House of Assembly , Yakubu Danladi charged the youths to harness their energies efficiently and positively to contribute to the development of the country.
