National Agency For Food And Drug Administration And Control (NAFDAC), has sealed fifteen packaged water manufacturing companies owing to poor hygiene in Kebbi state.

The state Coordinator of the agency, Muyidden Suleiman, who disclosed this to Newsmen in Birnin Kebbi said the factories were found wanting for poor storage practice.

Suleiman said, they were closed down during a routine visit of his agency in Koko town in Koko Basse local government area of the state, noting that some of the companies were also found operating with expired licenses.

“Apart from being illegal, it was found out that, some of these boys working in the company do not have basic knowledge of water packaging”.

He stated that some of the factories were given various administrative charges and invited to the state office.
