Accurate information dissemination has been identified as pivotal in addressing emerging threats in the agricultural sector.

This among others were views by stakeholders at a book presentation on agricultural business held in Kaduna.

One of the lead facilitator and lecturer at the Kaduna State University, Professor Seth Akutson submitted that such accuracy will enhance farmers chances of accessing markets and finance for their products.

He explained that the availability of information can create awareness on the impact of climate change and the use of modern technology to improve yields.

In his address, convener of the event, Ishaku Dogo Makama emphasised the need for each state to provide adequate information of their agricultural potentials for investment purposes.

In their separate message, Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State and his Gombe Counterpart Inuwa Yahaya assured of their respective commitment to transforming the agricultural landscape.

Other contributors at the forum highlighted the importance of infrastructural development, improved security and youth empowerment among others to achieve set objectives.
