The visitation panel of the Kano state tertiary institutions has pledged to come out with effective machinery that will improve the conducive teaching and learning in the state institutions.

Chairperson of the panel constituted by the Kano state Government, Dr.Rabi Jibirilla stated this while leading members of the panel to an inspection to Yusuf Maitama Sule University.

Dr.Rabi Jibirilla who is a one time provost, Federal College of Education Kano told the Vice Chancellor that the panel will do everything possible to ensure the provision of adequate facilities as well as look at all the problems and challenges bedeviling the university with aim of ensuring effective service delivery.

She acknowledged the commitment of the Vice Chancellor in bringing the university to greater height in view of the achievements recorded under his leadership and solicited for the cooperation of the university so as to discharge their assignment effectively.

Speaking at the event, Director General Research and Documentation Directorate Government House, Alhaji Sageer Sadisu Buhari commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for his foresight in constituting the panel which he said was inline with the administration’s commitment to ensure proper implementation of free and compulsory education in Kano state.

In a remark! the Vice Chancellor Yusuf Maitama Sule University Professor Muktar Atiku Kurawa described the establishment of the Kano state tertiary institutions visitation panel as a welcome development and pledged to give all necessary support and cooperation to achieve better results.

Professor Muktar Atiku kurawa who enumerated all the achievement so far recorded in the university acknowledged the support and cooperation being given to the institution by the state government.
