A member of the All progressive Congress from Tarauni Ward, Tarauni local Government Area of Kano state Ahmad Mansur Ali Tarauni, who is aspiring for the position of National Party Chairman of APC has cried out that due process was not followed during the APC wards congress in Kano state.
Ahmad Mansur Ali Tarauni stated this while briefing Journalist at his Tarauni ward in Kano on Saturday.
He said the party had categorically stated the procedures that are supposed to be followed during the Party’s Congress ,which according to him were not fully adhered to.
“Our Chairman Caretaker Commitee His Excellency Mai Mala Buni has explained that over fourty Million people have registered with the Party and that’ll due process would be fully observed so that the party will progress, but because many party members were aggrieved with the process the turn out was low”
He maitained Many party members were not consulted during the consensus, urging the party leaders and stakeholders to ensure fairness and equity in the APC ward Congress and other congresses for the party to retain power beyond 2023.
