Dutsinma Development Forum, DDF, has called on Nigerian to support federal and State governments in a quest to end banditry, insurgency and other forms of criminalities in the country.

The Chairman Board of Trustees Alhaji Shehu Ishiye stated this at the forum’s Annual Conference held in Dutsinma local government area of Katsina state.

Alhaji Shehu Ishiye said the unity and peace of the country could only be achieved through individual and collective efforts especially in fighting insecurity and other factors militating against economic development of the country

During the conference, the new executive members of the forum were also elected to run the affairs of the forum for two years.

Those elected are Dr Sabiu Liyadi as Chairman, Aliyu Ibrahim Vice Chairman, Maikaita Abdullahi as Secretary, Bishir Ibrahim Assistant Secretary and Hamza Abba Kasim as Financial Secretary.

Others includes Ahamad Saad as the Treasurer, Auditor, Adullahi Bature, Welfare Secretary Kabir Musa Yari, while the Publicity Secretary is Bishir Mamman Tanbu, and Publicity Secretary II Kabir Ibrahim Sada.

In an acceptance speech on behalf of the new executives, the Forum Chairman Dr Sabiu Liyadi appreciated members for the maturity, love and commitment exhibited during the election exercise as well as the electoral committee for their tireless effort and endurance shown to see the election was successfully.

He promised to embark on partnership with other stakeholders for the benefit of the forum , Datsinma local government and Katsina state in general, adding that, he will extend the hand of friendship to everyone and assured an open door policy.

Radio Nigeria reports that the Forum was aim at improvement the living standard of the people of the area and the state in general economically, socially and morally.
