Newly promoted English Premier League Club Brentford have signed Nigeria Midfielder Frank Onyeka from Danish outfit FC Mitdtjylland for an undisclosed fee.

The Nigerian signed a five year deal after obtaining passing his medical and obtaining a work permit.

The 23-year-old will undergo a period of quarantine before joining with the squad for training.

“We think he’s a strong addition to the squad,” said Bees boss Thomas Frank.

“We are looking forward to working with him. He is a very dynamic player.

Onyeka who is the club’s first signing is the second Nigerian to be signed by a newly promoted premier league club following the season long capture of Peter Etebo by Watford from Stoke City.
