Governor Badaru Abubakar has expressed satisfaction with the conduct of Saturday’s local government polls in the state.
He stated this to newsmen in Babura Arewa Primary School in Babura local government area of the state.
Alhaji Badaru Abubakar commended the security agencies for taking measures to ensure hitch free election in the state.
He also expressed his appreciation on the orderly manner the people conducted themselves during the election.
The Governor also commended the state Independent Electoral Commission JISIEC for the adequate arrangements ahead of the election.
Our Correspondent reports that there was low turn out of voters in some of the polling units visited in Dutse,Jahun,Gumel, Suletankarkar and Babura local government areas.
The Governor casted his vote at Arewa B polling unit.
