Jigawa State Government has established 85 primary and ten Nomadic Junior Secondary Schools across the state.

The Executive Secretary of the state nomadic board, Hajiya Ramatu Muhammad made this known to newsmen in Dutse.

She said the schools were established to admit class six primary schools pupils for secondary education.

According to her,the agency had distributed 39,900 set of uniforms to nomadic students in the last six years.

She said the agency also spent sixty four million naira for the purchase of teaching and learning materials.

Hajia Ramatu Muhammad said the agency was able to produce 47 nomadic degree holders, 23 National certificate of Education NCE and 196 Diploma holders

The Executive secretary added that the government has empowered Fulani Nomads with cows and sheep to enable them improve their living standard.
