The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and civil Defense Corp Kano command Abu Abdu Tambuwal says the Corp is in Partnership with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Aimed at safeguarding intergrity, prudence and safety, during the Conducts of the forthcoming examination.

Abu Abdu Tambuwal stated this while briefing newsmen at the Commands headquarters in Kano.

He said the Command had made all necessary arrangements geared towards ensuring Successful conducts of the forthcoming JAMB examination scheduled to commence on the 18th June 2021.

The Commandant explained that NSCDC would deployed 75 personnel to the 35 designated JAMB centers in kano,with the aim of ensuring security and safety of JAMB materials in Kano.

” We want the Conduct of the JAMB exams to be an examplary one, in the past we’ve effected arrest of some group of some individuals that seek patronage from the candidate for impersonation”

Abu Abdu Tambuwal maitained that his personnel would Conduct rigorous search of candidates geared towards ensuring weapons and other prohibited items were not brought to the examination centers.

“We have Compose five mobile vehicles with our rugged personnel that would be patrolling all the 35 designated centers with aim of Curtailing any Challenge that may Arise.

Meanwhile the Command has also Inaugurated a rapid response unit which contains 25 Gallant personnel of the Command as directed by the Commandant General of the Corp Ahmad Audi Abubakar.

” The Commandant General has Directed all formations in the Country to form a rapid response unit,which will be moving around on payroll bases 24 hours with a view to face challenges affecting the country”

The Inaugurated Rapid Response unit would under go a rigorous training at the Nigerian Army Barracks in Kano, and would thereafter provide security in primary and secondary schools in the state.

He added that the Corp would provide the new formation with all the needed equipments and logistics, geared towards achieving the set objectives.
