Federal Government is to commence the posting of Forensic Auditors and Examiners to Ministry and agencies to ensure accountability of allocated resources.

Auditor General of the Federation, Mr Adolphus Aghughu stated this at the inauguration of forensics laboratory at the office of the Accountant General of the Federation and graduation of twenty one Forensic Auditors and Examiner in Abuja in collaboration with Centre for Forensic Institute of Nigeria.

Mr Aghughu maintained that the three weeks training would enhance quality forensic Auditing of government ministries and agencies.

Mr Aghughu promised that more Forensic Auditors will be trained to conduct more audits and he charged the graduands to uphold the ethical values and professionalism.

The Project facilitator of the workshop, Professor Busola Olayiwola said that the training was apt in addressing leakages in government revenues and allocation and advised the Auditors to adopt new technology in Auditing.
