Journalists in Niger state have been commended for exibiting high level of maturity and docurum during the conduct of just concluded NUJ elections that saw the emergence of Comrade Abu Nmodu as the brand new Chairman of state council.
Special Adviser Political and Strategy to Niger state Governor Alh Muhammad Nma Kolo made the commendation in a statement issued to Newsmen in Minna.
Alh Muhammad Nma Kolo who congratulated the Chairman and his team for the victory also expressed hope that they will continue to provide much needed support to people and government of Niger state to succeed.
According to him it is good to see people who give so much get their just reward.
He however advised the new Exco to carry every member along in addition to operating an open door policy of administration for union to wax stronger.
Alh Muhammad Nma Kolo who assured them of continued government support at all times called for harmonious working relationship between the NUJ and Niger state government to achieve meaningful results.
