Kaduna State Government has debunked a publication circulated by some online media outlets that armed bandits attacked Jaji Military Base in Igabi local government area of the state on Saturday.

A statement by Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan says the reports of the attack on Jaji Military base was completely false.

According to the Statement, the military and security agencies have reported to the State Government that there was no such attack and all personnel stationed at the base are safe and accounted for.

According to the report, “armed bandits attacked the base and gunned down several soldiers”.

The statement urges the public to disregard the fake news.
