Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state has donated 2 Hilux to the Nigeria Police Force to boost security situation in the State.
Presenting keys of the Vehicles to the State Commissioner of Police, Usman Sule Gwamna, the Governor reiterated his commitment to security of lives and property in the State.
Alhaji Badaru Abubakar who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini said his administration will not hesitate to take any measure in order to maintain peace and security in the State.
He said that it is his constitutional and moral responsibility to do to secure the lives of citizens at all cost.
Responding, the State Police Commissoner, Usman Sule Gwamna commended Governor Badaru Abubakar for the gesture and assured that the vehicles would be used judiciously.
He expressed the readiness of the command to maintain peace and security in the State.
