Cov/USMAN MZ, Jigawa

Federal government has disbursed 18 Million Naira to 1,799 beneficiaries under its conditional cash transfer programme at Bulangu, Dumadumi and Gafaya wards in Kafin Hausa local government area of Jigawa state.

The coordinator of the Programme, Mallam Umar Aliko Mezan disclosed this to newsmen during the disbursement exercise in Kafin-Hausa.

Malam Umar Aliko Mezan explained that each beneficiary received ten thousand naira.

He commended federal and Jigawa state governments for introducing the programme toward improving the standard of living of Nigerians.

speaking, the chairman of Kafin Hausa local government council, Alhaji Garba Abdullahi advised the beneficiaries to make good use of the money to boost their enterprises.

Some of the beneficiaries also commended the gesture while pledgimg judicious use of the funds for better life.
