The Kaduna Justice and Peace Forum has congratulated Muslims across Kaduna State and Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Maulud celebration, urging the faithful to use the occasion to promote peace, unity, love and peaceful coexistence.

In a statement signed by the Assistant Public Relations Officer of the organisation, Hajiya Ambassador Ramatu Tijjani, the forum extended warm greetings and best wishes to Muslims celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The forum described the Maulud celebration as an important opportunity for Muslims to reflect on the teachings, character and exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), particularly his messages of compassion, justice, forgiveness, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.

It urged Muslim faithful to continue demonstrating these values in their communities and to promote understanding and mutual respect among people of different faiths and backgrounds.

The Kaduna Justice and Peace Forum also called on religious leaders, traditional institutions, community leaders and citizens to strengthen efforts toward maintaining peace and addressing issues that could create tension or division in society.

It prayed for peace, security and prosperity in Kaduna State and Nigeria, while encouraging citizens to continue working together for a more peaceful and united society.
