The Kano State Hisbah Board has arrested 21 individuals at a hotel in the Kureken Sani area of Kumbotso Local Government Area over alleged immoral activities.

The Deputy Commander-General of the board, Sheikh Mujahid Aminuddeen, confirmed the arrests, stating that 11 women, some reportedly aged between 17 and 25, and 10 men, mostly youths under 30, were taken into custody.

Mujahid said the suspects were apprehended while allegedly organising a gathering that violated Hisbah regulations.

The hotel manager was also arrested in connection with the incident.

He added that the suspects would be charged and prosecuted in court, urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, especially those involving minors.
