The National Assembly has postponed resumption of plenary session earlier scheduled for Tuesday February 24 to Friday March 5th.

In a notice issued to Senators and Members of the House of Representatives, the Clerk to the National Assembly, Mr Kamoru Ogunlana, says the postponement would allow various Committees of the Assembly to conclude ongoing budget defence sessions.

According to the statement, plenary will now reconvene in both chambers on Thursday, March 5th at 11:00 a.m.

Members of both the Senate and the House of Representatives have been urged to take note of the new date and time for resumption.

The leadership of the Assembly expressed regret for any inconvenience the postponement may have caused.
