Nasarawa State Government says all is set to embark on a mega solidarity rally for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule.
Speaking at a press conference on the preparation for the mega rally, the secretary to the state government SSG, Dr. Labaran Magaji said nasarawa state are going to be addressed on the effects and the impact of the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his deputy, Vice President, Kashim Shatima in lafia, the state capital.
According to the renewed hope ambassador of Mr. President, said that the mega rally is to show appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abdullahi Sule for their developmental strides of good governance.
He said, the decision to brief the media directly was considered by the critical role journalists play in shaping public perception and reflecting government actions to the people.
Dr. Labaran Magaji maintained that, the planned rally follows extensive consultations with stakeholders and a review of the performance of President Tinubu, particularly in the areas of economic reforms, removal of fuel subsidy, student loan schemes, and other social intervention programmes, as well as ongoing infrastructural development across all sectors
He explained that due to the incapability of all citizens accessing the State House or Government House to express their appreciation, stakeholders resolved to organize a solidarity rally where residents from across the state would converge at lafia for a collective expression of support.
The Secretary to the State Government explained, that the rally will also feature the inauguration of newly appointed local government co’ordinators of renewed hope ambassadors, following consultations with critical stakeholders across the state.
He revealed that several serving and former lawmakers at both, national and state houses of assembly, alongside other eminent personalities, have concluded arrangements to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC and will be formally received during the rally.
The SSG further disclosed that the National Chairman of the APC is expected to grace the event and officially receive the defectors.
He urged citizens to use the rally as an opportunity to encourage President Tinubu and Governor Sule to sustain their reform-driven governance for the benefit of the people of nasarawa state and nigeria at large.
