Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has relieved the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Galadima, of his appointment.

The decision was announced in a statement signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado.

According to the statement, the removal followed a minor reshuffle in the composition of the State Executive Council, which took effect immediately.

Governor Mohammed said the cabinet review was part of efforts to inject fresh ideas, strengthen governance, reposition the executive arm for improved service delivery, and ensure effective implementation of government policies and programmes across the state.

The Governor thanked Galadima for his service to the state and wished him success in his future endeavours.

He also reassured residents of Bauchi State of his administration’s continued commitment to peace, security, and good governance.

The statement added that a replacement for the sacked commissioner would be announced in due course.
