The Jigawa State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has promoted 39 officers and men as part of its ongoing efforts to reward dedication, professionalism and meritorious service.

In a statement made available to journalists in Dutse, the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC Badarudeen Tijjani Mahmoud, said that out of the 39 promoted personnel, four Deputy Commandants of the Corps were earlier decorated in Abuja, in line with promotion guidelines for senior officers.

According to him, the Jigawa State Commandant congratulated the officers and men on their elevation and reminded them that promotion comes with greater responsibility, discipline, and renewed commitment to duty.

He also charged them to remain loyal, professional, and dedicated to the Corps’ mandate.

The Commandant further urged the promoted personnel to intensify efforts in the protection of critical national assets and infrastructure, maintenance of public safety, and effective collaboration with relevant stakeholders across the State.

Speaking on behalf of the promoted officers, the Command’s Public Relations Officer ASC Badarudeen Tijjani assured that the promoted officers and men would justify the promotion through improved service delivery.
