The Kano State Police Command has decorated 13 senior officers to higher ranks in a ceremony held at the Police Officers’ Mess, Kano.

The decoration reflect the officers’ dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public service.

The decorated officers include the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP): Muhammad Nuhu Digi (from ACP)Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs): Musa Akawu, Ahmed Abdullahi, Abdullahi Usman, and Saleh Buba (from CSP)

While Seven officers were promoted to Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) and One officer promoted to Superintendent of Police (SP).

The Kano state Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, congratulated the officers on their achievements, urging them to uphold integrity, discipline, and selfless service in their new roles.

He explained that, the promotions were approved by the Police Service Commission following recommendations by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.

CP Bakori also commended the IGP’s leadership, highlighting reforms and welfare initiatives for police officers, as well as the guidance and support of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 1 Kano.

The Kano State Police Command commended the promoted officers and expressed confidence in their continued contributions to law enforcement and public safety in the state.
