Imam Abdulmumini Abdulrafiu-Onilaru made the call in his Juma’at sermon at Darul-Khair Mosque in Ilorin Kwara state.
He said most people use their spoken words to inflict injury on themselves and others.
According to him the period we are in the month of Rajab Muslims are expected to prepare themselves ahead of the month of Ramadan.
Imam Abdulrafiu-Onilaru advised Muslims to Imbibe the habit of doing good at all time inorder to receive positive reward from God.
