Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has announced that the Oluremi @65 Education Fund has raised a total of Twenty five billion Naira in donations to support the construction of the National Library.

In a press statement released Senator Tinubu expressed appreciation to Nigerians, friends, family members, and well-wishers for their contributions to the fund, which was established to mark her 65th birthday on September 21, 2025.

According to her, the overwhelming support for the initiative reflects a shared national commitment to education, knowledge preservation, and sustainable development.

She noted that the project is being supervised by the Honourable Minister of Education, adding that any further support should be directed through the Federal Ministry of Education.

Senator Tinubu thanked all contributors for their generosity and goodwill, describing the initiative as one that has inspired unity and collective responsibility among Nigerians.

She also wished Nigerians and their families a peaceful and prosperous 2026.
