Christians in Niger state have been advised to pray for leaders for Allah guidance and protection to pilot the affairs of the state and Nigeria successfully.
They have also been admonished to pray for Niger state Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago for Allah to grant him the grace to pursue with vigour and actualize his New Niger Agenda.
Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria and Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese Most Reverend Bulus Yohana gave the advice in his Christmas sermon with the theme “Heaven’s Greatest Gift” held in Kontagora.
Most Reverend Bulus Yohana also expressed hope that all the projects embarked upon by Governor Umar Bago will be completed to enable Niger lites enjoy the dividend of democracy.
The Clergy man stressed the need for Christians to be living examples to others through love, mercy and compassion that has been shown to them by Allah through the blessings of Jesus Christ.
They have also been implored to imbibe and follow the good example of Jesus Christ by extending their love to everyone irrespective of race, colour, creed and most especially privileged persons in the society as Christ did in (John 15; 12,13:35–45).
