The Jigawa State Commandant, Muhammad Kabir Ingawa disclosed this to newsmen in Dutse while reviewing the activities of the corps in 2025.

On prosecution, Ingawa explained that, the corps received a total of 125 cases which have been successfully prosecuted.

According to him, the cases include offences related to vandalism, cybercrime, impersonation, and other security-related violations.

The NSCDC boss said the corps recorded the arrest of suspects involved in the vandalization of electricity installations and water facilities, with the damaged infrastructure valued at over 11 million naira.

Under the School Safe Initiative, he said the NSCDC provided security coverage for schools across the state, alongside the training of personnel assigned to the programme to enhance safety within learning environments in the year under review.

The NSCDC commandant appreciated the donation of three operational vehicles from the Jigawa State Government, as well as additional support received from other stakeholders across the state.
