Niger state chapter of the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC has demanded for the exposure and prosecution of all sponsors of violence in Nigeria towards addressing the current security challenges bedeviling the country.

Chairman of NLC in the state Comrade Idrees Abdulkareem Lafene made their demand known when he led members on a peaceful protest to present their position paper to the Speaker Niger state House of Assembly Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkin daji at the Assembly complex Minna.

Comrade Abdulkareem Lafene would also wants government at all levels in Nigeria wake up to their primary constitutional duty of protecting lives and properties of Nigerians, while stressing that Nigerian workers are saying that enough of the excuses and rhetorics they want to see action where the lives of ordinary Nigerian begins to count and precious like that of the elites.

On the intention of America to come in to Nigeria, the Chairman Niger state chapter of NLC  reminded the United States of America  that Nigeria is a sovereign nation and that it can solve its problems by itself without undue interference from outside.

Receiving their position paper for onward presentation to the Niger state Governor Mohammed Umar Bago, Speaker Niger state House of Assembly Barrister Abdulmalik Sarkin daji assured them that they are at the right place, and commended the leadership of NLC in Niger state for always maintaining their peaceful rally peaceful without interruption.

Barrister Sarkin daji, maintained that they will act swiftly, and that they will not only take the paper to Governor Bago, but will read it out at the floor of Niger state House of Assembly for deliberations and possible action that will hopely add value to their demands.
