President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is holding an extended security meeting at the State House with top defence and intelligence chiefs, including the Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS).

In an update posted on his official X handle, the President says the meeting is focused on reviewing the latest security reports and taking decisive measures to stabilise affected regions across the country.

Tinubu notes that he is receiving continuous briefings and has directed all security agencies to respond with “speed, precision, and absolute resolve” in tackling emerging threats.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to national security, the President warns that individuals or groups undermining the peace and stability of Nigeria “will face the full weight of the law.”

He concludes with a message of assurance, stating: “Nigeria will prevail.”
