Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has expressed readiness to join the All Progressives Congress APC.
The Governor made the announcement during an interview with newsmen in Jalingo.
He explained that his decision is driven by what he described as the destiny of Taraba State.
Governor Agbu Kefas stressed that the move is not motivated by personal interest but by the need to align the state with a direction he believes will enhance development and unity.
The Governor reiterated that his political realignment is aimed at securing a better future for Taraba and ensuring that the state is positioned for greater opportunities.
Ahead of the defection, the Governor has inspected the Jolly Nyame Stadium,venue for the ceremony.
Political stalwarts of the APC supporters,stakeholders from within and outside the state are expected to attend the defection Ceremony.
