Parents have been advised to raise their children in ways that ensure the continuation of good deeds long after they are gone.

Renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Suleiman Danborno, gave the charge during the 13th anniversary remembrance prayer for the late political icon, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki, held at his GRA residence in Ilorin, Kwara State.

He described Saraki’s death as a great loss to Ilorin, Kwara State, and Nigeria, noting that the late politician uplifted many people “from nobody to somebody” without expecting any reward.

Danborno added that the enduring legacy of the late Saraki is further strengthened by the presence of a worthy successor in Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

He said the late leader’s life of service, philanthropy, and dedication to the people will continue to be remembered for generations.
