Muslims have been urged to imbibe the habit of patience and perseverance to enable them receive good reward from God.

Dr Abdulwahab Shittu made the call in his Juma’at sermon at Hilal Crescent central mosque in Ilorin,Kwara state.

He said being patience and having God consciousness are attribute of a good Muslim.

According to him whatever one is passing through he should be patience and seek help from God.

Imam advised Muslims to remain committed in the discharge of their duties in accordance with the teaching of the Holy Quran and the practice of prophet Muhammad.

He urged Muslim to strengthen their belief in God and do good no matter the situation they find themselves.
