Residents of Nasarawa Local Government Area in Kano State have been urged to visit Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) offices for voter registration and collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

The Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government, Ambassador Yusuf Shuaibu Imam, made the call while commissioning a series of community development projects across Tudun Wada and Gama Wards.

Ambassador Imam particularly encouraged youths who have recently turned 18, as well as those who have misplaced or damaged their voter cards, to ensure they are properly registered to participate in future elections.

He noted that voter registration is key to enabling citizens to exercise their civic rights and elect credible and competent leaders.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to grassroots development, the chairman commissioned seven new infrastructure projects, which include the construction of drainages, ring and box culverts, crossing slabs, and laterite fillings in various communities within Tudun Wada and Gama wards.
