‎Member representing  Jema’a – Sanga Federal Constituency, Mr. Daniel Amos, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his inclusive leadership and developmental strides.

‎He made the commendation while addressing a news conference in Kafanchan to announce his defection from the People’s Democratic Party -PDP, to the All Progressive Congress.

Mr. Amos said his decision followed months of consultations with community leaders, faith-based organisations, professionals, and traditional institutions across his constituency.

‎According to him, aligning with the APC will help attract more government attention and developmental projects to the southern Kaduna region.

I can assure you that our biggest reason for dumping the people’s Democratic party is so we can realign to the government at the center, for the good of Southern Kaduna as a senatorial Zone” Dan Amos said.

‎He explained that the move was driven by the need to align with both the state and federal governments to accelerate development in Southern Kaduna.

‎Amos lauded Governor Uba Sani for his open-door style of governance, infrastructural expansion, and policies that give all parts of the state a sense of belonging.

‎He noted the important role played by Uba Sani to ensure the approval of key federal projects such as the Federal University of Applied Sciences and the Federal Medical Centre in Southern Kaduna, as well as the support he gave former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa.

‎Dan Amos who chairs the House Committee on Services, noted that the PDP had lost its grassroots strength  due to prolonged internal crises, adding that many of its members nationwide were seeking alternative political platforms.

‎He dismissed insinuations that his defection was motivated by personal ambition, describing it instead as a decision taken in the collective interest of his people.

‎The federal lawmaker said he would continue to provide effective representation, assuring his constituents that joining the ruling party was aimed at adding value rather than displacing anyone.
