Nigeria Police Force has urged residents of Jigawa State to remain law-abiding, vigilant, and cooperate with security agencies to maintain a safe and secure environment across the state.

The Commissioner of Police, Jigawa State Command, Dahiru Muhammad, made the appeal while receiving ten brand new Toyota Hilux patrol vehicles donated to the command by Governor Umar Namadi in Dutse, the state capital.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP Lawan Shiisu Adam, CP Dahiru Muhammad commended Governor Umar Namadi’s efforts to support security agencies in discharging their responsibilities in the state.

According to him, the donation underscores the unwavering commitment of Namadi’s administration to enhancing security and supporting the Nigeria Police Force in its mandate to protect lives and property across the state.

He pointed out that, the 10 brand new additional patrol vehicles will greatly improve response time to distress calls and enhance the command’s operational effectiveness within the state.

The CP noted that, the vehicles will be deployed judiciously and maintained properly to ensure effective policing.

He therefore, reiterated the command’s commitment to sustaining peace, law, and order, while fostering stronger collaboration with other security agencies and stakeholders’ engagement.
