Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has undertook a strategic inspection visit to key defence production facilities operated by Leonardo S.p.A in Northern Italy.

A statement by his Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mati Ali says the visit is part of the high-level delegation accompanying President Bola Tinubu on his official visit to Italy for the AQABA process meeting in Rome.

During the tour, the Minister inspected the assembly lines, observed flight test procedures, and engaged in technical briefings with senior Leonardo engineers and management.

According to the statement, the visit underscores President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to strengthening national defence capabilities through strategic acquisitions to enhanced training and international collaboration.
