Corps members have been assured of continuous support and topnotch security during their mandatory service year to the nation.

Director General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu made it  known at a familiarization visit to the twenty twenty-five Batch ‘B’ stream two corps members at the NYSC temporarily orientation camp in Kaduna.

The Director General advocated that while the state government is being responsible and responsive to their well-being, corps members should reciprocate the gesture by contributing positively to the society.

He charged them to utilize skills learned from the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program of the scheme so they  can become employers of labour.

Brigadier General Nafiu warn corps members to abide by the rules and regulations of the scheme specifically discouraging travel without permission or traveling at night.

He also cautioned against wrong use of the Internet and respect for the culture and traditions of whatever community they are posted to.

Brigadier Nafiu encouraged them to cultivate the habit of saving for investment and patronize the various government programs that empower corps members.

In a remark the State coordinator, Mrs. Efeke Murna Dadaza said corps members have conducted themselves positively and adopted to their new environment.

While appreciating the state government and other agencies for their contributions she solicited for more aid especially the relocation of the orientation camp to a more befitting permanent site.

Highlights of the visit include award presentation and cultural display by Corps members.
