The Northern Nigerian Bridge Builders Association has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to disregard calls for the removal of Service Chiefs, describing it as politically motivated, ill-timed and counterproductive to the reality on ground.

In a press conference addressed by Convener Comrade Good heart Archie, the Group said collaborative efforts in intelligence gathering and community engagements are yielding fruits in most of the infested areas, thus changing the service chiefs would be an untimely substitution.

He said  calls for their removal is politically motivated, thus Mr Dominic Alancha is a feather weight activist that shouldn’t be taken into account.

“He doesn’t have any serious ties with what’s happening on the ground, while his views isn’t a major reflection of the North particularly states and infested communities.” he said.

The Convener Shehu noted that  some accolade the Service Chiefs gotten in recent past, which includes, but limited to when Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal said, “If i have powers to give orders to security agents, I can assure you we will end banditry within 2 month, the Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Chris Musa gave a marching order to all military agencies to take decisive action against criminal elements”he said.

According to a renown Islamic cleric, Malam Muhammad Sharif Zaria has threw his weight behind the CDS and his team.

In the same vein, Distinguished Senator Mohammed Ndume has countered calls for removal of top military brass describing it as outlandish and uncharitable.

The Northern Group maintained that, another sister Association, has voiced similar statement calling on President Tinubu to ignore the calls saying such demands could demoralise the Nigerian Army whose men daily lay down their lives to keep Nigeria one.

“As concerned Northerners, we say no to any form of evil machinations against the service Chiefs, CDS, the region and the national at large. Enough is enough,” he said.

The Group then thanked President  Tinubu for his due diligence and patriotic gesture in appointing the Crip of Service Chiefs who are the perfect match for current security challenge’s solution.
