National Population Commission-NPC has emphasized that accurate census data was fundamental to effective resource allocation and planning for community development.

Federal Commissioner representing Kaduna State at the Commission, Hajiya Sa’adatu Garba Dogonbauchi stated this during her on-going state-wide sensitization visit on the upcoming population and housing census to Jaba and Kagarko LGAs.

Hajiya Sa’adatu Garba Dogonbauchi stressed the need for grassroots involvement so as to get information about the census and ensure everyone is counted right.

She urged youths to acquire computer skills, noting that the digital census would require highly locally-sourced ad-hoc staff.

In their separate remarks, Executive Chairman of Jaba, Larai Ishaku and her Kagarko counterpart, Muhuyideen Abdullahi pledged to ensure security and inclusive stakeholder participation throughout the exercise.
