Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State has approved the suspension of the Commissioner for Health, Alhaji Yunusa Musa Ismail with immediate effect.

This was disclosed by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor (SA) Yahaya Sarki to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi the capital,

The decision followed the Governor’s directive that, the Commissioner should provide cogent reasons why disciplinary measures should not be taken against him over negligence of duty and disregard for his mandate as Commissioner.

By this directive, the Honourable Commissioner is Here by suspended from office till further notice.

The Governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to accountability, discipline, and effective service delivery in all sectors, stressing that public officers must justify the confidence reposed in them.
