The National Population Commission-NPC says housing and population census are crucial for developmental growth and improving the living standards of the people.

Federal Commissioner representing Kaduna State at the Commission, Hajiya Sa’adatu Garba Dogonbauchi stated this at a town hall meeting, as part of her state-wide sensitization visit on the upcoming exercise held in Soba LGA.

Hajiya Sa’adatu Garba Dogonbauchi stressed the need for parents to ensure that their children obtain the life birth certificate in the ongoing digital birth registration exercise across the State.

In a remark, the Executive Chairman of Soba LGA, Mohammed Lawal Shehu lauded the initiative and pledged maximum support for a hitch-free and accurate exercise.

He emphasized the need for collaboration between the NPC and Local Government authorities in achieving a successful census.

Participants at the town hall meeting also pledged their commitment and support for the successful conduct of the exercise.
