Chairman of Malam Madori Local Government Area in Jigawa State, Salisu Sani Garun-Gabas, has donated ₦2 million to staff members of the council to support their Eid al-Adha celebrations.

The gesture was warmly received by the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Malam Madori Branch.

Speaking after the disbursement, NULGE Chairman, Aminu Tafida, praised the chairman’s commitment to staff welfare, noting that the donation would boost morale and improve work performance.

He emphasized that such incentives go a long way in promoting dedication and efficiency among local government workers.

Chairman Garun-Gabas, on his part, urged all staff to reciprocate the goodwill by maintaining regular attendance and contributing positively to the council’s development goals.

The donation and commendation were made public by the Council’s Information Officer, Alhaji Musa Muhammad.
