The Nigeria Labour Congress-NLC has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-il-Kabir.

In a statement, Acting President of the NLC, Comrade Audu Titus Amba urges the Muslim faithful and Nigerians at large to imbibe the spirit of faith, obedience and sacrifice for a better Nigeria.

Comrade Audu Titus Amba used the opportunity to call on government at all levels to take necessary steps to bring down the cost of living.

The statement also called on government to bring to an end, the spate of insecurity and create the necessary environment for a hitch-free celebration in all parts of the country.

Comrade Amba urges Nigerians not to loose hope in the country due to the present challenges, but muster the needed courage and wisdom to confront them head-long.
