Director Nursing Services, Katsina State Ministry of Health Nr. Haruna Mamman

 

The Nigerian Nursing Council NNC says, it’s completed arrangement to revalidate the registration certificate of all their members in Katsina state and the country at large.

Director Nursing Service, in Katsina State Ministry of health , Nurses, Haruna Mamman disclosed this in an interview with newsmen in Katsina, the state capital.

Nurses Mamman further explained that, the registration of practicing nurses would commence from next week June 2nd to June 6th to ensure that only genuine nursing are practicing the profession.

According to him, members of the committee from the national headquarters of council had already written formally that, they will be in Katsina as from the 2nd to 6th June for the registration exercise to allow members to review their licence.

He called on all practicing nurses to avail themselves for the registration to avoid any embarrassment or suspension from the service.

According to him, the registration is meant for qualified nurses working nurses in public and private hospitals in the state.

In his contribution, the officer incharge of Katsina and Zamfara states Dr Aminu Bello charge the nurses to ensure that they review their licence in order to practice their profession across the globe.

He also urged them to remain committed toward helping individuals to have access to their health at affordable price.
