The newly posted Commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State, Commander Bala Bawa Bodinga, has sought the support and collaboration of the state government to further enhance security in the region.

Commander Bodinga made this call during a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim, at his office in Dutse.

He expressed his admiration for Jigawa’s reputation as one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria and reiterated his commitment to maintaining and improving that record through strategic collaboration with the government and other stakeholders.

In his response, Malam Bala Ibrahim assured the Commander of the full support of the state government.

He emphasized the administration’s continued commitment to peace and security, noting that close cooperation with security agencies is key to sustaining the state’s stability.
