Jigawa State Local Government Service Commission has earmark about twenty million naira for continuation of payment of Local Government in service staff allowances.

The Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Uba Bala Ringim stated this while flagging off the payment ceremony held at the Commission’s Conference hall in Dutse.

According to him, about two hundred in-service Local Government training staff drawn from twenty seven Local Government would benefit from the allowances.

Alhaji Uba Bala Ringim further explained that, the payment is a continued process so as to encourage other Local Government staff to further their education.

He therefore commended the efforts of Governor Umar Namadi for the support and cooperation rendered to the Commission.

Also Speaking, the Acting Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Alhaji Sani Yahaya Maroki urged the benefitting staff to rededicate themselves to their duties to complement the Government gesture.

Radio Nigeria reports that, the Permanent Commissioners of the Commission Alhaji Sani Umar Madaci, Alhaji Abdullahi Daurawa and Alhaji Ali Yahaya Jahun attended the ceremony.
