The member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, Mr. Daniel Amos, has been conferred with the traditional title of Bena Asseit, the Taimakon Kussom, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to community development and welfare promotion.
The conferment was made by the Village Head of Kussom Mr. Gideon Maigari during the Khituk Kussom traditional festival at Kussom, aso Ward in Kagoma, Jema’a Local Government Area, Kaduna State.
He explained that, the traditional title, which means “Kussom Helper,” signifies Mr. Amos’s pivotal role in supporting and uplifting the Kussom community.
The Village Head praised Amos for his dedication and commitment to promoting the interests of the Kussom people, particularly through his people-oriented programs at the National Assembly.
He noted that the Khituk Kussom festival provided a fitting platform for the conferment ceremony, as it showcases the rich cultural heritage of Kussom.
According to the traditional leader, Mr. Daniel Amos is expected to continue serving as a champion for Kussom’s development, inspiring others to contribute to the community’s growth and prosperity.
He added that the community looks forward to his continued leadership and support.
In his response, Mr. Daniel Amos thanked the Kussom community for the recognition and promised to do even more to ensure the development of various communities within the federal constituency.
The event brought together community members, prominent figures, and stakeholders to celebrate the unity, solidarity, and progress of their community.
