President Bola Tinubu says his administration has and will continue to prioritise workers’ welfare.

In a message to Nigerians commemorating Workers’ Day, the President said his administration will work closely with workers to make the country great again.

He says workers deserve attention being the engine of the economy and the secret to the nation’s growth.

The President also commends citizens whose contributions have added value to the development of every segment of the country.

 

Governor Abdulrazaq Expresses Commitment To Descent Job

 

Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq says his administration is committed to building a state where workers thrive, decent jobs are created, and every sector empowered to contribute meaningfully to the development of the state .

Governor AbdulRazaq in his message on the occasion of the 2025 International Workers’ Day,in Ilorin ,extend warm greetings to men and women of both the public and private sectors whose efforts power the economy and shape the future of our society.

He appreciated the immense contributions of the workers across all sectors for their dedication, resilience, and skills which makes them the pillars of growth and development.

The governor reaffirms the administration’s commitment to implement policies that strengthen the civil service, grow the economy, attract investments, and expand job opportunities.

He explained that through targeted infrastructural and socioeconomic initiatives, the administration has maintained financial stability, ensured timely salary payments, supported entrepreneurship, and provided social safety nets.

Governor AbdulRazaq Urged the workers to embrace change, promote excellence, and prepare for the opportunities of tomorrow.

“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all workers for the vital role they’ve played in our shared achievements. I also commend our Labour leaders for their support and partnership.”he said .
