National President of FRCN Pensioners’ Union, Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmad Jikamshi is to lead a special delegation to meet the Executive Secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate on vital issues affecting retired workers.
Alhaji Ibrahim Jikamshi said in Kaduna that the meeting scheduled for this week would deliberate on lapses identified in the payment of arrears owed the senior citizens over the years.
He assured of efforts by the union to address such lingering issues while expressing the hope that PTAD would demonstrate honesty, transparency and commitment towards settlement of outstanding benefits..
Alhaji Ibrahim Jikamshi who recalled presidential intervention on the delayed payment of the arrears with disbursement of billions of Naira was dismayed that such intervention was yet to yield positive result for the retirees.
