The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, CC Muhammadu NB Dansadau, has ordered the deployment of 1,500 personnel across the state before, during, and after the Easter celebrations.

According to a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Musa Labaran, the deployment is aimed at protecting lives, property, and Critical National Assets and Infrastructure throughout the state.

The Commandant warned criminal elements in the state to repent or face the consequences of their actions.

“We have warned criminals across the state to repent or be ready to face the full wrath of the law, as our personnel have been deployed across the 23 Local Government Areas to arrest suspected criminals and anyone attempting to create chaos in the state,” he stressed.

The Commandant, while wishing Christians a happy Easter celebration, advised them to use the period, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, as a time for reflection on their daily lives.

He assured residents in the state of the safety of their lives and property as they go about their normal activities.
